Burl wood is a type of wood in a tree where the grain develops in an unusual way, creating beautiful patterns which are used to enhance many wooden objects, from car dashboards to veneers in furniture.

This pen is made from pieces of burl from a maple tree, and put into a resin for a most visually impressive result in a pen which has real weight.

Its finished with a gloss coating of varnish and takes Parker type refills
